What: Jerusalem Foundation of Canada—Pathway to the Future in Solidarity with Jerusalem

Where: Park Hyatt Hotel, Toronto

When: Nov. 30, 2023

Who: Leaders in philanthropy and the Jewish community; Mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Lion; former President of Israel, Reuven Rivlin; Israel Ambassador to Canada, Iddo Moed; and leaders of the Jerusalem Foundation locally and internationally.

Why: Coming together to stand in solidarity with Israel and Jerusalem during this difficult and critical time while also honouring the life of Julia Koschitzky z’’l, who inspired all of us. The funds raised for the Jerusalem Foundation Canada Community and Culture Fund will support emergency needs in response to the current crisis in Israel and will also support the day after the war, with the most relevant and vital programs for those in need and for cultural vitality and creativity. Support for the Fund is recognized along Julia’s Lane—the Canada Pathway in the centre of Jerusalem.  With the support of the Koschitzky family, the Jerusalem Foundation also established the Julia Koschitzky Youth Leadership Prize for Good Citizenship.

Support the Media that Speaks to You

Jewish Canadians deserve more than social media rumours, adversarial action alerts, and reporting with biases that are often undisclosed. The Canadian Jewish News proudly offers independent national coverage on issues that impact our audience each day, as a conduit for conversations that bridge generations.

It’s an outlet you can count on—but we’re also counting on you.

Please support Jewish journalism that’s creative, innovative, and dedicated to breaking new ground to serve your community, while building on media traditions of the past 65 years. As a Registered Journalism Organization, contributions of any size are eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
