Why: Grand Cru Culinary Wine Festival is the largest two-day event of its kind, uniting esteemed chefs and wine producers from Toronto and around the world with the brightest minds in medical research to support UHN’s world-leading programs. Founded by Todd Halpern, the festival features a series of private dinners in homes across Toronto and a live auction. Grand Cru has raised over $132 million for UHN since its inception in 2005—this year alone, more than $5 million was raised to support research and innovation across University Health Network (UHN).
