Walking It Back: The Chief Rabbi of Barcelona’s Jewish community, Meir Bar-Hen, walked back comments he made in the wake of last week’s attack. Bar-Hen had said the community was “doomed,” but later said the latter part was quoted out of context. On Friday, he was quoted as saying:

“I tell my congregants: Don’t think we’re here for good. And I encourage them to buy property in Israel. This place is lost. Don’t repeat the mistake of Algerian Jews, of Venezuelan Jews.”

Trump Troubles: In an appearance on the Dave Chappelle show last week, Jon Stewart criticized Trump’s handling of the Charlottesville attack, reportedly saying, “There are two sides? M—– F—–? Two sides! I believe they are called the Allied powers and the Axis powers, and we used to be with the Allied powers… In the president’s defence, he is a terrible person.”

That’s Amore: In honour of Jerry Lewis, check out a classic performance of him and his partner, Dean Martin, in action!
