It’s time to get to it

You’ve made the decision and this year you are going to stick to it.

You are going to get up every morning and walk for an hour, no matter what.

You are going to join a gym – yes, this year you are going to do it.

You’ve made the decision and this year you are going to stick to it.

You are going to get up every morning and walk for an hour, no matter what.

You are going to join a gym – yes, this year you are going to do it.

You are going to eat healthier, feel better and lose weight. That’s what you told yourself last year.

This year, I’d like to help you make that decision and stick to it. Making the decision to live an active life is easy – sticking to it isn’t.

Most people set unrealistic goals for themselves and are sure to fail. I always tell my clients to take things one step at a time. If you’ve never exercised in your life, then starting with 30 minute walks inside or out is enough to help you lose weight and feel great.

I also strongly suggest that if you’re new to working out or you have an injury of any kind, hire a personal trainer to show you the proper way to exercise safely and effectively.

If the gym is more your thing, then do it there. Gyms have lots of personal trainers with different levels of experience. Join with a friend, or join a class or two, especially for cardio training, because most people find it boring. Make sure that the programs you choose are safe for you to do, and if you’re not sure, ask your doctor. If you’re a beginner, stick with beginner classes.

One of the biggest trends today is to share a personal trainer, or have group sessions, as they are called. Having two to four friends share an hour can make it more affordable, fun and motivating.

Start off with something you enjoy, because if you enjoy it, you will do it, and actually doing it will get you to where you want to go.

I’d like to help you reach your goal this year. E-mail me at [email protected] with any questions or topics that you’d like to know more about.

Now go get started.
