Peace with the Palestinians

Re: letter from my friend, Mr. Ari Raif, on “Peace with the Palestinians.”

You write that the government should make painful concessions and share Jerusalem, etc.
It pains me to read this!  Of course we want peace!  But to give away more parts of our tiny, precious country! G-d Forbid!   Have we not learnt lessons from the past?

We just gave away Gaza, beautiful Jewish homes and synagogues were burnt and now, the terrorists can easily shoot rockets into my family’s backyard & into schools!

We had more peace when we did not make “painful concessions.”

My Rebbe, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, cried bitterly, how this simply leads to more casualties G-d Forbid!  Please stop begging the Palestinians to take more of our tiny country!

If we have more self respect, we will get more respect & peace from our neighbors!

May we have true peace in our days!
