No permit, but some clashes: The City of Peterborough, Ont., denied a permit for a white nationalist rally slated to take take place on Saturday. A crowd assembled at the park where the rally was scheduled to occur, and clashes, one between anti-racism protesters and a man in a Nazi T-shirt, and another between anti-racism protesters and police, led to two arrests.
Netanyahu no-show: Bibi said he’s sorry not a single member of the Israeli government attended Sunday’s annual memorial for soldiers killed during the Yom Kippur War.
Repentance writ large: If you thought the CEOs of major companies don’t atone for their sins, you’ve got another thing coming.
