Jewish groups decry health care bill: American Jewish groups including the Reform movement, the Jewish Federations of North America and B’nai Brith International expressed serious concern about the House of Representatives’ passage of a health care bill to repeal and replace major parts of the Affordable Care Act.

Women Who Work doesn’t work: The reviews are in for Ivanka Trump’s newly released book Women Who Work and the consensus seems to be that the first daughter and aide to U.S. President Donald Trump shouldn’t quit her, er, day job.  

Jews want Church and State to stay separate: Jewish groups are expressing opposition to an executive order signed yesterday by U.S. President Trump that will allow clergy to endorse or oppose political candidates from the pulpit.

Jewish endorsement for Macron: France’s chief rabbi has, along with Muslim and Christian faith leaders, endorsed the centrist presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron over far-right candidate Marine Le Pen.

Polite Israelis rewarded with caffeine: A popular Israeli coffee chain seems to be taking a crack at taming the sabra, offering a discount to customers who say “please” and “thank you” when ordering a coffee.
