Montreal ‘crisis’ fund established to meet pandemic needs

Montreal’s Federation CJA and the Jewish Community Foundation of Montreal have set up a “community crisis response fund” to raise money to support agencies and other organizations dealing with the effects of the pandemic, especially on those most at risk.

Innovative Jewish programming aided by new grants

Over $400,000 has been awarded to 16 community organizations and programs by the Jewish Community Foundation of Montreal (JCF), under a new funding initiative designed to encourage creative projects that have a practical impact.

New endowment campaign comes to Montreal

Over the next four years, the Jewish Community Foundation of Montreal will be working with synagogues, schools, social service organizations and other Jewish entities and their donors to set up endowments intended to ensure the financial stability of community institutions.
