Fiddlers raise money for historic synagogue

Music as a form of therapy for those with memory challenges

Ruth Schweitzer looks at the band Recollectiv, which is composed of people affected by memory challenges caused by dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, stroke or a brain injury. Music students and community members also form part of the band.

Combined Jewish Appeal pitches a big tent open to all

Instead of its usual gala at an indoor venue, the Federation is officially launching the 2018 Combined Jewish Appeal (CJA) campaign in a huge marquee that will go up in Hampstead Park in the Montreal suburb of Hampstead, Quebec, the night of August 23.
