Hamas rejected two truckloads of Israeli humanitarian aid sent to assist medical shortages in Gaza, on Tuesday, even though the terrorist group accepted four truckloads of aid sent by the Palestinian Authority and two from UNICEF. The rejected aid included more than 14,000 intravenous infusions, 40 medical basins, 20 medical examination couches, 25 infusion stands, 85,000 disinfectant pads and 12,500 bandages.
Former Canadian prime minister Stephen Harper supported U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to move the American Embassy to Jerusalem and his withdrawal from the nuclear agreement with Iran. Harper spoke in front of an audience of more than 1,000 people at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim in Montreal on Monday night.
Spike Lee, the American producer, director, writer, and actor, is working on a film called BlacKkKlansman, based on the real relationship between black and Jewish police officers. Lee’s depiction of the black-Jewish relationship has evolved since Mo’ Better Blues. Lee said he wanted to understand what it was like to be Jewish in America.
Guatemala moved its embassy to Jerusalem today, just two days after the United States. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said it was fitting that Guatemala was the second country to move their embassy, since they were also the second country to recognize Israel as an independent state 70 years ago, after the U.S.
