Opening day of Wayne Radio Company at 446 Parliament St., Toronto, circa 1944. Multi-generational family-owned business would become Wayne Furniture and Appliances. Original owners were Max Wainberg and his sons Jack and Sol. The business would eventually expand ito a third generation with the opening of a second location in Hanover, Ont. by Jack’s son Melvyn Wainberg.
