#HeyTwitter: Israeli-German artist Shahak Shapira chalked racist, homophobic, and anti-Semetic slurs outside Twitter’s Hamburg office to raise awareness about the platform’s unwillingness to remove hateful tweets the artist had apparently alerted the company to. One read, “Let’s gas some Jews together again,” while another claimed that Germany “needs a final solution for Islam.”
Israel
Iranian Aliyah: Neda Amin, the Iranian-born, Turkey-dwelling journalist and contributor to the Times of Israel who faced deportation back to Iran, has arrived safely in Israel, where she plans to seek permanent residence status or citizenship.

Gaza
Tunnel Vision: The BBC reported this morning that Israel is accelerating the building of a large barrier along its boundary with Gaza, aimed at preventing militants from tunnelling underneath it.
