Natural foods chef Carolyn Cohen and certified holistic nutritionist Krissy Smith are among Toronto’s busiest experts in the culinary world.

Cohen has owned and operated Delicious Dish Cooking School for the past 14 years. Smith has over half a decade of experience working with Dr. Joey Shulman of the Shulman Clinic and in her own practice, Eat, Play, Live Nutrition.

Both women have brought their long-standing passion for health, wellness and tasty food together and created a new venture: Delicious Nutrition, a holistic nutrition cooking school.

“Food should energize and enhance your life. We are all about helping you find that balance. Our mission is to educate and help you learn the how-why-when-and-what to eat, to keep you healthy for life,” said Smith.

“Life is changing. We need to focus on cooking differently, and the best way to do that is to offer our clients healthy recipes and holistically based nutrition geared for the entire family,” said Cohen.

Delicious Nutrition offers seasonal programs for people who want to improve their health without sacrificing tasty food in the process.

Recently, students came out to Delicious Nutrition’s two-day Eating Clean Workshop held at Nella Cucina Kitchen Studio.

Participants learned about nutritionally sound, balanced and easy-to-follow meal planning, experienced live cooking demos, and were given tips and tastings.

“People [went] home armed with the better part of 50 recipes on which they can live,” said Cohen.

Delicious Nutrition provided this recipe that was featured in the Eating Clean Workshop.
