CANTORIAL CONCERT PLANNED

The Toronto Council of Hazzanim will hold a gala cantorial concert at Beth David Synagogue at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 18. Eight Toronto cantors will be accompanied by the David Warrack Trio as they perform songs of Israel and Broadway. Participating cantors include Marshall Loomer from Beth David, Anna Trubashnik from Temple Emmanuel, David Rosen from Beth Radom, Ben Silverberg from Shaar Shalom, Tibor Kovari from Beth Tikvah, Eric Moses from Beth Sholom, Gerhon Silins and Katie Oringel from Temple Sinai.
