Your daily spiel is The CJN’s roundup of Jewish stories trending around the world.

“Open season” on religious women? Sara Horowitz explores rabbinic authorities’ restrictions on women, like a prestigious rabbi in Israel saying women who serve in the IDF become, among other things, “unmarriageable.”

Educating on Israel: How are Jewish educators across Canada teaching their students about Israel, and some of the more controversial aspects of its history/politics?

Gender-inclusive resolution passed: The Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association has passed a resolution affirming the full inclusion and welcoming of all transgender, non-binary and gender non-conforming individuals.

The times they are a -changin’: The typically publicity-shy Bob Dylan will accept his Nobel Prize for Literature in person in Stockholm, in a small setting with no media present.

The Bey Hive goes full Haggadah: Somebody made a Tumblr website full of Beyonce-themed Passover memes, and it’s basically the best thing ever.
