Flag Wars: Camp Solomon Schechter in Washington state caused a stir when it raised a Palestinian flag to greet a contingent of Palestinian visitors. The group was from Kids 4 Peace and the camp circulated a letter stating, “For the sake of a teachable moment, we did raise the Palestinian flag as a sign of friendship and acceptance.”

Transcendent Travels: The hit series Transparent, which follows a dysfunctional Jewish family with a transgender parent, is stopping by Israel for its fourth season. Exhausted and Stressed: The Palestinian Authority’s President Mahmoud Abbas was hospitalized Saturday. According to reports from Ha’aretz, the Israeli security establishment is fearful that Abbas’s deteriorating health could lead to significant political uncertainty and turmoil.
