Fire Safety: Edmonton police are investigating two fires deliberately set outside of a Jewish school last weekend.

Temple Troubles: Escalating tensions on the Temple Mount continued today. Palestinians clashed with police near the Lions’ Gate following Israel’s installing metal detectors near the holy site following a terrorist attack last week that resulted in the death of two policemen. According to Ha’aretz, two Palestinians have been killed and over 190 wounded in the clashes so far.

United States

Shoah Museum: A new Holocaust museum built in Brooklyn, N.Y., is aimed at ultra-Orthodox Jews.

Europe

Star Crossed Eyes: A Dutch advertisement showing a women in a headscarf kissing a man with a kippah has stirred up controversy across The Netherlands. Designed to encourage displays of diversity, the poster has drawn the ire of many Muslims, but received some support from many prominent Jews.
