Missing Michael Stone: Michael Stone, “a renowned teacher of an approach to Buddhism and yoga that integrated social justice and ecological issues,” died last week. He was 42 and is survived by three children and a fourth one on the way with his partner, Carina Stone. A GoFundMe page has been set up to support the family.

Praying the Price: Israel removed its ‘controversial’ security apparatus around the Temple Mount following a terrorist attack, leading to Muslim leaders lifting their two-week boycott. Small clashes took place before afternoon prayers.

Imam Incident (again): Egyptian-born American preacher Ammar Shahin of the Islamic Center of Davis in California went on an anti-Semitic tirade. Among other statements Shanin made during his lecture, he claimed that, “Judgment Day will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews”.

Curb Your Cousin: Speaking at the Television Critics Association, comedian Larry David acknowledged that he is actually related to former presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. Last year, David played Sanders on a Saturday Night Live skit!
