Ron Leshem, an executive for one of Israel’s main television networks, who oversaw the development of Homeland, will give a talk in Hebrew at the Jewish Public Library at 7 p.m. about his latest novel, The Amateur Revolutionary. He is also the author of Beaufort, which was the basis for the Oscar-nominated movie of the same title.

The highlight in Montreal is a free concert tonight at the Bell Centre, featuring singer Serena Ryder, the band Coeur de Pirate, and Hughes speaking on behalf of the Bell Let’s Talk initiative.
