BALLROOM DANCING DEMO

SHABBAT SHALOM

Rabbi Lisa Grushcow and Sandy lead special Shabbat Shalom programs for children ages four months to four years old starting today and running Fridays, 10-11 a.m. through Nov. 16 at Temple Emanu-El-Beth Shalom. The program includes a sing-along, percussion instruments, puppetry and dancing, followed by story time and a Shabbat celebration with the rabbi. FAMILY SERVICES

Temple Emanu-El-Beth Shalom holds family services for Shabbat morning, 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m., when Torah School is in session. Those not enrolled at the school are also welcome. 514-936-3575.

 

PROM NIGHT

The YAD FedNext campaign is staging a glitzy “Prom Night,” 10 p.m.-2 a.m. at the Imperial Room, 1432 Crescent St. The evening includes an open bar, DJ and raffle prizes. RICHARD III

With the support of the Segal Centre, the city’s newest theatre company, Metachroma Theatre, stages its inaugural production, William Shakespeare’s Richard III, today through Sept. 30 at the Segal Centre.
