MARCH TO JERUSALEM!

The annual March to Jerusalem “goes back to the mountain” this year, with registration at Federation CJA starting at 9 a.m. and the march itself – benefiting Bronfman Israel Experience Centre programming –  starting at 10 a.m. The route includes six checkpoints, including “Masada” atop Mount Royal, where there will be two performances by the Israeli musical group The Ein Prat Fountainheads, who also perform at the kick-off. ISRAELI STREET FESTIVAL!
For the first time in several years, the YM-YWHA also returns to tradition by holding its very popular Israeli Street Festival on the same day as the march, noon-5 p.m. in front of the Ben Weider JCC. 75 YEARS YOUNG
On May 7, the Jewish General Hospital’s Women’s Auxiliary celebrated its 75th anniversary in the hospital’s atrium, with live music, games, birthday cake and “the famous Dr. Clown.” The auxiliary is called the JGH’s “caring arm.”
