Ralph Benmergui returns to The CJN with his popular podcast ‘Not That Kind of Rabbi’

We're kicking things off on Oct. 17, live at the Prosserman JCC, with special guest Mark Breslin.

The CJN is excited to announce that Ralph Benmergui is returning to our podcast network with his longstanding show, Not That Kind of Rabbi.

Produced independently for the last three years, Not That Kind of Rabbi saw Ralph sit down to dive into the spiritual journeys of prominent Canadians, including Bob Rae, Kathleen Wynne, Steven Page and dozens more. Now, as part of The CJN Podcast Network, we’ll be focusing on Jewish figures and themes, bringing you insight into the inner lives of public Canadians.

To kick things off, we’re hosting a special live taping on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at the Prosserman JCC in Toronto. Ralph will sit down with his old friend and Yuk Yuks founder Mark Breslin, who’ll talk about how his own personal Jewish journey influenced his expansive career, including founding Canada’s most successful chain of comedy clubs. It’s an outlet you can count on—but we’re also counting on you.
