Students protest Durban II

The pictures show the silent protest by the ‘Stand With Us’ organization over the holding of the UN Durban II conference which started Monday in Geneva.

Students, Darfurian refugees and human rights activists protested at the UN World Conference on Racism in Geneva Monday. The rally, organized by the international educational organization, ‘Stand With Us’, consisted of a rally and march towards the UN building in Geneva to protest the double standard of he conference as well as its clearly anti-Israel and anti-Jewish bias. The rally coincided with the opening of the conference.

‘Stand With Us’ is an international education organization that ensures that Israel’s side of the story is told in communities, campuses, libraries, the media and churches through brochures, speakers, conferences, missions to Israel, and thousands of pages of Internet resources.

‘Stand With Us’ was founded in 2001 in response to the misinformation that often surrounds the Middle East conflict, and the inappropriate often anti-Semitic language used about Israel and/or the Jewish people worldwide. ‘Stand With Us’ has offices and chapters in Los Angeles, New York, Denver, Michigan, Chicago, Seattle, Orange County, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, the UK, Australia, and Israel.
