Rocket strikes greenhouse in southern Israel: Earlier this morning, after the Taba border crossing between Israel and Sinai was closed due to a security alerts about an attack on Israeli citizens, a rocket from Sinai hit a greenhouse in southern Israel. 

IDF treats Syrians: This video shows the Israeli army providing medical treatment to Syrians wounded near the border with Israel in their country’s civil war.

Israel condemns Le Pen’s statements: In response to far-right French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen claiming her country can’t be held responsible for the deportation of thousands of French Jews to death camps in 1942, Israel’s Foreign Ministry has delivered a condemnation.

Chabad in bed with Putin? A feature article in Politico magazine explores Russian President Vladimir Putin’s close ties with Chabad.

Gere on the occupation: Following a visit to Israel to promote his latest movie, actor Richard Gere publicly lamented the impact of the occupation on both Israelis and Palestinians, saying the political situation is “destroying everyone.”
