The CJN is seeking personal stories about modern life in Canadian places without an active Jewish community

The quintessential Jewish experience is an urban one, but lots of Jews—by choice or by circumstance—live outside of Canada’s cities. We are putting together a magazine feature highlighting these stories, and we are looking for participants.

Are you (or do you know) a Canadian with a story to tell about being Jewish in a relatively isolated place? We’re looking for recent experiences of living in parts of Canada where other community members aren’t easy to find. No need to write in detail; just tell us a little about yourself and where you are and we’ll follow up with some questions and take it from there.

Write us at [email protected]. Please spread the word to any friends or relatives who might be interested in contributing to this project, too.
