Your Daily Spiel is The CJN’s daily roundup of trending stories in the Jewish world.

Lost quorum deliberate? Leaked messages reveal that the Ryerson Student Union president told members of the executive to stage a walkout and deliberately “lose quorum” during a vote to honour Holocaust Education Week, at a meeting last fall. This despite denials by those involved that the walkout was engineered.

More of the same from Girls: Michael Fraiman reviews the final season premiere of Girls (yeah, it’s ending), and the verdict is in: the ladies of Girls are as insufferable as ever.

Infamous tweeter sticking around: The Jewish McGill student union rep who tweeted “punch a Zionist today” will not be removed.

Covert charity: Several groups in Israel have launched a covert charity campaign called Operation Human Warmth, which supplies Syrian refugees with warm clothing and supplies.

Bibi and Trump, live: Check out the live updates from the joint press conference being held today with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump.
