What: Jerusalem Foundation of Canada—Pathway to the Future in Solidarity with Jerusalem

Who: Leaders in philanthropy and the Jewish community; Mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Lion; former President of Israel, Reuven Rivlin; Israel Ambassador to Canada, Iddo Moed; and leaders of the Jerusalem Foundation locally and internationally.
Why: Coming together to stand in solidarity with Israel and Jerusalem during this difficult and critical time while also honouring the life of Julia Koschitzky z’’l, who inspired all of us. The funds raised for the Jerusalem Foundation Canada Community and Culture Fund will support emergency needs in response to the current crisis in Israel and will also support the day after the war, with the most relevant and vital programs for those in need and for cultural vitality and creativity. Support for the Fund is recognized along Julia’s Lane—the Canada Pathway in the centre of Jerusalem. With the support of the Koschitzky family, the Jerusalem Foundation also established the Julia Koschitzky Youth Leadership Prize for Good Citizenship.
