Not to sound blasphemous, but there is really only one actor whose voice brims with enough grandiose and omnipotence that he could narrate a film or documentary as God himself.
Morgan Freeman.
The skilled narrator and actor has handled the role before – in Bruce Almighty and Evan Almighty, respectively – and has recently signed on as the main presenter in an upcoming National Geographic documentary called The Story of God, following his journey to discover the meaning behind life, the universe, and everything, to quote Douglas Adams.
Morgan is also an executive producer behind the project, which will reportedly focus on the dichotomy that exists between religion and science.
After visiting the Giza Pyramids in Cairo Friday, where he reportedly shot scenes with Jack Nicholson, according to Reuters, the Academy Award-winning actor arrived in Israel this weekend to film at the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
